It's been almost two weeks since my last doodle post. I'd love to say I've spent that time sitting in the sun sipping tea and eating muffins, but I don't like the sun, I hate tea and muffins are just wanna-be cupcakes. Ha!  No, I've been preparing for my very first convention.  I will be a guest artist at Shevacon, Southwest Virginia's premier sci-fi and fantasy convention!!  yikes!  I will be hosting a panel to teach kids how to draw "cute" and will be hanging out in the con's first "kids korner" drawing sketches for kids and of course coloring on some special coloring pages I created just for the con.  It should be a great weekend and my Hubby and son are coming along to help out and enjoy the fun. 

This is the last piece I finished last week to be added to the art show.  I have 21 pieces that will be hanging in the show and hopefully some of them will sell!

Buble, boobs and beer. That is how I spent the last hour. Something about listening to Michael Buble that makes you want to fall in love...glad I already am! :)  Anyway, this is my Beer Girl, kind of like the St Pauli girl but way more Irish.

Happy Easter! oh la la... This little bunny wants to wish you an Easter filled with sweetnes (and sexy cartoon goodness!) haha  Yes I'm a bit silly but drawing cute all day makes you that way.

Harry Potter and friends are cute as can be...now they are cuter!  I decided to add something other than Star Wars to my stash for the upcoming art show/convention.  I mean who doesn't love the little wizards?

Remember when you saw Empire Strikes Back for the first time and you were shocked to learn the truth about Luke's Father...  Wouldn't it have been so much better if Vader said it as the punch line to a joke?  Hehehe  Well I think it would! So here's my version, enjoy!

I think if Vader had a pet Wiener dog, he probably wouldn't have been such a meany.  Wiener dogs make every one happy! haha 

Doodle-a-Day 16

So it's been almost a week since I actually posted new artwork.  I have a really good excuse...we are covered in SNOW!  It never ever never snows this much in Williamsburg!  We got about 8 inches Saturday, it just kept on coming the whole day...so of course we had to play.  I did try to get back into the work grove today, but was constantly looking over my shoulder to the sparkly white stuff in my yard...aww it's so pretty (glad it'll be gone and it'll be back to the 60 next week!)

This is what I did today, I did a bunch of sketches last week and inked them friday.  So after a touch of color and a few girly giggles...this little piece of awesome was born!

Snow? Here?

It's snowing. I won't be posting new artwork today. I have to count snowflakes!

No doodles to show today. I spent hours and hours sketching new ideas yesterday so today was spent cleaning them up and getting them ready for inking. I have a bunch a new stamp designs, some very adorable Star Wars cartoons and a couple new "girls". Tomorrow will be a fun day inking and coloring...and I get to use all the new markers I got last weekend! yippie! Also I only have 28 days to prepare for my first convention. I'm getting excited and nervous to put my art out there and see what type of response it'll get. And I'll be hosting a panel on drawing for kids (hope they like kitties and monster...we'll be drawing a few).

Today was all about beer, shamrocks and little green men!
